Regional Victorian nurse/paramedic Anita describes how patients are suffering due to a lack of hospital beds.
Anita says full and proper care can't be given to patients who are being forced to stay on trolleys in corridors because there is nowhere for them to go on the wards. The Napthine government hasn't kept the promise of delivering 800 new hospital beds. In fact in aged care and mental health, over 800 beds have been privatised or closed.
